All website packages:
Your package includes the number of Web pages we have contracted to make for you plus 12 months' hosting; domain registration & administration as agreed; email setup; support; maintenance; reasonable updates; dynamic response form and dynamic database.
You can supply 10 images, which must be Web-ready. Remember that a logo is an image; ask your designer for a digital copy. Image gallery packages include a greater number of images.
We'll make up a rough page to verify that we're thinking along the right lines. Upon your approval, we'll go ahead.
You have the right of refusal on 2 site design proposals. If we still have not agreed upon the third proposal, either party may withdraw but your £90 deposit will be forfeit.
Bear in mind that the site design proposal is for the overall look & feel of your website: text, images and certain design features can be changed frequently as part of your free updating service.
Free updates:
Necessary changes to text or images are free, on the basis of one change a month.
Images that require simple processing cost £5 per image. If a picture needs the attentions of an expert, we will advise you of costs before going ahead.
For further-reaching updates, such as a page rewrite, we'll make the minimum possible charge and advise you beforehand - costs will normally be in the region of £50.
If you expect to be changing content very often, we'll recommend a Content Management System that helps you to update your own website (from £100).
Free maintenance:
All maintenance arising from our code, our servers, bugs, hackers and even from updates in the way the WWW handles your website, will be free of charge for the entire time you're with no-url.co.uk.
If you want us to intensify your search engine optimisation we will make a proportional charge for increased services.
If you break your website through misuse of a CMS, we'll fix it but we may ask you to pay our experts' fees.
Free email:
We will set up email addresses for you@yoursite.com and arrange for those emails to be forwarded to a suitable & effective Internet mailbox. We will also set up the mailbox and the forwarding, should you need this service.
It's your responsibility to check the mailbox every day, and to reply to your contacts.
Replies that come through your website response form are stored in our database: however, we only check the database occasionally as part of a routine maintenance survey.
If you accidentally lose all your responses, we will forward your database contents for a small fee - but we can't rescue any other emails that were in your mailbox, nor your replies! It's your private mailbox, after all.
Webmail:
Our Webmail service is offered as an add-on, at a cost of £25 a year. Generally we advise our clients to use an Internet mailbox, which we will set up for you.
If you use our Webmail, copies of emails received will be stored on our servers. You may wish to use it as a backup if you have real concerns that your messages may be lost or deleted.
Free hosting:
We contract with you to host your Website, database and supporting files for 12 months.
If your site expands in scope and/or popularity, to the extent that we incur extra space or bandwith costs, we will advise you of any additional charges before taking action.
Future hosting:
We will continue to host your website and to provide all supporting services for a fee, currently £35 pa, which is published on our website.
Time to complete:
The time taken to get your Web site online (normally 10 days) is calculated from the time of receiving all the necessary files, and assumes that you will respond adequately to our questions within 12 hours.
Delays, naturally, will extend the time taken - sometimes by longer than the amount of delay, depending on our work timetable.
Should you find that you cannot supply materials, advice or other essential information within a reasonable time, we reserve the right to cancel your contract and to charge you an hourly rate for work already done.
Cancellation:
We have responsibilities towards one another which include helpful & courteous communication, professional conduct and legal, honest business practices. We undertake to maintain these standards in our dealings with you. Should your behaviour towards us prove unacceptable, we may choose to terminate your contract at short notice.
If a contract is terminated before the end of 12 months by either party, we will not make any refunds as hosting & support services are free. We will, however, hand over all work that we have done for you and which is paid for.
